Tallboys — one feature tower per CBD
Four feature towers picked across very different CBDs: Nashville (mid-South service economy), Austin (tech secondary city), San Francisco (mature tech finance), Manhattan (apex global-city). Each map shows the feature tower in gold; surrounding grey pins are the next-tallest neighbors in our dataset for that CBD, and small navy dots are the other buildings of 100 ft or more within 2 km of the feature tower (up to 800 per map). Click any pin or dot for its name, height, floors and FAR; where a building has no FAR on file the popup gives the CBD’s average FAR instead. Maps use the open OpenStreetMap basemap; click the layer toggle (top-right of each map) to switch to a CartoDB Light basemap for a cleaner contour view.
